I employ the most effective and proven dispute resolution techniques acquired from in-person participation in more than 100 mediations and intensive training and certification programs through the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, and the King County Dispute Resolution Center.

I graduated with honors from Washington State University in 1987 with a degree from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication and a minor in Criminal Justice. Following the siren’s song of the law rather than broadcast journalism, I spent the next two years in Honolulu, Hawaii working for the prosecutor’s office in the Victim’s Kokua (victim’s assistance) Unit and surfing the south shore surf breaks of Oahu.
